John,
This is
big.
I'm honored to have earned
the endorsement in our race for Supervisor from the
San Francisco Chronicle today.
This couldn't be a more
consequential time to serve our neighborhoods and our City. To meet
the moment we need a leader who will work collaboratively to solve our
toughest challenges and lead us out of a once-in-a-generation health
and economic crisis.
The Chronicle recognizes
that, too often, my
opponent's approach is "counterproductive." We've seen
that to be true with his plan for tenants that leaves them on the hook
for months of back rent, or his approach to homelessness that has
amounted to handing out a thousand tents with no plans for new
services or housing.
I'm ready to step in—on
homelessness, housing, and recovering from COVID-19—with a new,
creative approach on Day One.
I hope you'll join the Chronicle, Planned Parenthood
Northern California, the Alice B. Toklas LGBTQ Democratic Club, The
Willie B. Kennedy Democratic Club, the San Francisco Women's Political
Committee, Black Women Organized for Political Action, and the
hundreds of neighbors who have endorsed our campaign.
Thank you,
PS - Tomorrow
I'm joining my first endorser, Mayor London Breed, on Zoom at 6PM. I
hope you'll be there.
