Midnight tonight marks the final quarterly fundraising deadline of my Congressional race. After 420 days of hard work, this deadline will serve as our final fundraising proof point for the strength of our campaign.

We're proud of the narrative we've been able to establish so far in this race. From the "Toss Up" rating we earned in our race to consistent polling that shows a statistical tie, we know that we've set the stage to flip Virginia's Fifth District from red to blue. Still, we know how important it is for us to add to that narrative in these final days to ensure a victory.

We need just $7,618 more to make our goal -- can you chip in a few dollars now to help us close the gap before tonight?

I know what you're thinking: it's hard to believe that a single contribution is going to make a big difference and move the needle. But we have seen throughout this race how powerful and valuable each act of grassroots support can be.

Every donation, whether it's $10 or $100, counts towards our FEC report. When we file, we will show that our campaign is being fueled by tens of thousands of people -- not the dark money super PACs that my opponent is relying on.

From the start, grassroots donations have been the biggest source of funding for our campaign. I'm committed to ending this race the way we began: putting my trust in people, and refusing the support of corporate PACs.

The last time VA-05 went to a Democrat, it was by only 727 votes. I know the election on November 3rd will come down to the wire -- and each grassroots donation truly could be the difference.
