When I entered this race, I knew the road would be long and hard. 

This was before the COVID-19 pandemic gave handouts to the uber-wealthy, the K Street lobbyists, and the elites that fuel the campaign coffers of Trump, the GOP, and corporate Democrats like Nancy Pelosi.

This was before the riots in Minneapolis, Louisville, Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco, where the people stood up and said they were sick of being part of a society that tolerates bigotry and racism, only to face unprecedented police brutality.

This was before our discourse on social media spun out of control, allowing the Commander-in-Chief to insinuate violence while the inequalities in our society grow deeper.

During all this, what has our Congressional leadership done for us?

Rent and mortgage relief? Nope.

Income to afford basic necessities? A limited time offer.

Healthcare? If you've got COVID, maybe.

We're fighting to change that, but we need your help.
