When you become a police officer, you take an oath to protect and serve your
community. I took that oath and I take it seriously, just like thousands of
other police officers do every single day.

But Joe Arpaio stands in direct opposition of this promise. He used his
position as Sheriff to terrorize people in our community and he deserved to
face punishment for his actions. But Donald Trump gave him a pardon and let him
get away with it.

Now, the White House is trying to find a Joe Arpaio-like extremist to run
