We're just a few hours away from our final FEC end-of-quarter fundraising deadline before Election Day and I want to take a moment to share why it's so crucial we hit our online goal.

Winning back my seat is key to national Republicans' plans to retake the House majority. Republicans outvoted Democrats in our top-two primary, and they take that as an indicator that they have a real shot at defeating me.

The attacks against me have started, so we need to hit this goal to ensure we have the resources to fight back.

John -- this is the most important election of our lifetime. The future of the Supreme Court, the Affordable Care Act, our environment, and so much more is on the ballot. I'm not accepting a dime of corporate PAC money, so I'm counting on grassroots support to help me fight back against national Republican attacks.
