Friend -- When the Supreme Court ruled that federal courts won't limit partisan gerrymandering, it was a setback for our movement. But as President Obama said:

"That ruling can't stop citizens from doing what it takes to protect our democracy and ensure that the rules of the road are fair. At the end of the day, it's up to us."

With another vacancy now on the Supreme Court, our movement could be facing more setbacks in the years ahead. If we lose another seat to a conservative justice, it could make our work to fight racial gerrymanders and enforce the Voting Rights Act that much harder.

But we've always known we can't depend on a single court or court decision to advance our movement. That's why we've always been focused on our state-by-state strategy for political change -- and that strategy has earned us some big wins since we started in 2017.

Our biggest test yet is coming up in just over a month, though, and as President Obama said, it's up to us to get the job done. We're targeting state legislatures across 10 target states this November, and we need your help to get Democrats to the redistricting table in all of them.

Will you pitch in before tonight's midnight deadline to help us reach our end-of-month goal so we can keep up our work to defend voting rights and end GOP gerrymandering?
