Hi folks -- I won’t take long, but I need to ask you to chip in $5 or more to provide a critical round of funding to our Democratic challengers in battleground states before our deadline at midnight.

Nate Silver, at FiveThirtyEight, just predicted that Democrats are slightly favored to take back the Senate in 2020.

But he added an important warning: “But by no means is it a done deal. There are basically no seats where you would guarantee a Democratic pickup.”

And that’s why I’m emailing you today, folks. We have just 34 days left until Election Day -- which is not very long! Democrats in battleground states are counting on us to provide a boost of grassroots fundraising they’ll need to make sure they turn out every Democratic voter they possibly can. And according to my team, we need to raise just another 62 grassroots donations before midnight tonight in order to hit our goal.

So, I’m making a personal appeal to you here tonight: Will you chip in $5 to help Democrats win the crucial battleground races that will decide control of the Senate in 2020?
