Team, did you see this?
On Wednesday — the one year anniversary of our primary victory — I rode the #1 bus from Cambridge to Roxbury:

During the ride, I spoke with a few of my fellow passengers about the challenges they’re facing, and what I, along with my colleagues, can do to help.
When I was elected a year ago, I was sent to Washington with a mandate for hope — to make real progress on issues of consequence to the people of the MA-7.
Since then, I’ve been proud to listen and work in partnership with community to address inequities in economic opportunity, housing, healthcare and many of the other issues that are so evident along the #1 bus route.
The challenges are real, but I always get off the bus feeling emboldened by the hope and optimism of my fellow riders. Together, we will continue to build a movement, to organize, advocate, and legislate to fight for — and achieve — change.
And, with your help, we’ll take our message to every bus stop, T station, and street corner in the MA-7. Make a contribution today so we can spread the word far and wide across our community.
Thank you,
Ayanna Pressley
