John,
Every time I hear about another loved one killed by senseless gun violence, I think about the pain I feel that my mom was murdered at the hands of a gunman, which could have been prevented. It strengthens my resolve to keep fighting for a future where no more families have to live with the unimaginable grief I carry. You’re part of this fight too, John, and that’s why I’m reaching out to you personally today.
Election Day is just a month away, John — and Brady's critical on-the-ground work in battleground states that will decide this election has never been more important. But tonight is our last big fundraising deadline — and with the first voters already casting their ballots, we’re still falling just short of where we need to be to make the tangible change we've been working so hard to create.
We’re doing everything we can to mobilize voters, defeat Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell, and elect leaders who will fight by our sides to end gun violence. But the NRA is spending millions to do the exact opposite, and with everything from voting rights to the future of the Supreme Court at stake, we desperately need your help. Any progress on critical gun safety issues, like an assault weapons ban and universal background checks, hinges on this election and what we can do these next 34 days, John.
Right now, a generous donor is matching all donations — dollar for dollar — up to our $100,000 end-of-quarter goal, so there's never been a better time to make your very first gift. Please, can you spare $5 or more before our midnight deadline?

I'll continue to fight in honor of my mom and every other mother, father, sibling, and friend killed by this senseless epidemic — and I hope you'll join me.
