Dear John –

You’ve heard a lot from me and my team this week.

Through all the emails two themes remained constant. One, there is a lot at stake this November. Two, we are just hours away from our most important, and final, end-of-quarter deadline before Election Day.

Here’s why I hope you’ll consider supporting our campaign before the deadline tonight:

Our campaign isn't about me. It is about bringing the voices of everyone in our community into the conversation. Our campaign isn’t about one election. It is about resetting our communal morality. This is not even about politics. It is about the type of future we want to build for our kids – a future with clear air and water, accessible health care, quality education, and equal rights for all. This is about basic decency. This is about saving our country.

It has been a tough few months; there is no doubt about that. And tough times call for strong leadership – for a leader who brings people together and creates tangible reforms to provide people with critical services and assistance when they need it the most.

We have a chance to build something better, to imagine a better future. So I’m asking you personally to pitch in $5, $10, or whatever you can before our deadline at midnight.

Your support humbles me every single day. I am grateful. Let’s keep fighting. Imagine how much more we can do together.
