Three things you need to know about Minnesota’s Senate race:
- Donald Trump is back in Minnesota today for his third visit in a matter of weeks. He’s rallying his right-wing base to give our Republican opponent the boost he needs to win this close race.
- Two polls showed Democratic Senator Tina Smith and her “mini-Trump” opponent statistically tied. We’re locked in a tight race now with a right-wing extremist who was hand-picked by the Washington Republican establishment to run against Tina.
- Republicans are dumping an outrageous sum of money on misleading TV ads designed to smear Tina’s record. This month alone, two GOP dark money groups are spending nearly $1 million on TV ad buys in our state to derail our campaign.
With voting already underway in Minnesota, we’re hustling hard to fight back and get Tina’s message out to voters as they cast their ballots. But we’re on track to miss our final quarterly fundraising goal tonight, so it's unclear if we’ll have to cut our budget.
Will you rush a contribution of $10 or more before tonight’s final FEC quarterly deadline to get us back on track? Every dollar allows us to respond to Trump and the GOP’s false attacks, which could make a huge difference in our race and help end Mitch McConnell's Senate majority:

Your $1, $5, or $10 contribution may seem like it's no match for the obscene amount of money Mitch McConnell’s donor network and GOP dark money groups have at their disposal — but if every person reading messages like this one gives a few dollars, it all adds up.
That's how we will win this election and keep Tina Smith in the U.S. Senate.
