John,
As we come to the end of this campaign quarter, I wanted to share with you a few moments that have inspired and driven me over the last few weeks. Our country is facing challenging times, but these moments are the fuel that keep me fighting every day for our nation.
-
I am inspired by a speech from a teenager in Orange who spoke at an event celebrating the life of Representative John Lewis. Niyah said “We must not let the hard work from those like Mr. Lewis go to waste, instead we must use what was taught and apply it to today’s trials and tribulations. Through ways of peaceful protesting, demonstrations, and voting. Every step counts.”
-
I’m inspired by the young woman running for her class president whose candidate emanates hope and a belief in the school community she seeks to represent.
-
I am inspired by meeting a postal worker who greeted me as he delivered his route. He removed his hat, pointed to the words and said, “We are the Postal Service. We serve people.”
These are just a handful of stories that have made me more resolved than ever to fight earnestly and urgently for our country.
But also during these past months, outside spending has flooded into our district and attacks against me have spiked. They’ve resorted to low, false attacks trying to distract from the time I spent serving this country in the CIA.
This makes it all the more urgent to start the final quarter on a strong foot. I know how incredible our team is, from our staff to the volunteers to the grassroots donors. Can you contribute to our campaign today to start this final quarter before the election in a strong position?

Words cannot describe how thankful I am everyday for the continued support from people like you.
Thank you,
Abigail
