That wasn’t a debate. That was Trump throwing a tantrum.

People First Future

Team,

We have just hours left before our critical fundraising deadline, and we’re still short of the $50,000 we need to raise. I’ll tell you more about why hitting this fundraising goal is so important shortly, but first:

If you can afford to, make an urgent contribution right now to help us raise the $4,721 we need to hit our fundraising goal before midnight tonight.

This is the most important election of our lives. Last night while Joe Biden showed the American people he has the poise, experience, and plans to tackle the big challenges we face, Donald Trump showed us just how unhinged, childish, and incompetent he is. With tens of millions of people out of work and massive housing and hunger crises, Trump couldn’t offer a single word of condolence.

Instead, Trump threw a tantrum on national television and broke every debate norm. He used the stage to spread conspiracies in effort to cast doubt about the election results and suppress the vote. And, when asked to condemn white supremacy, he instead told the white supremacist group Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by.”

Team, I cannot emphasize this enough: Our democracy is at stake. That’s why we can’t leave anything to chance. We need a resounding victory on November 3rd — and we’re working around the clock to make sure that happens.

Will you rush a contribution right now to help People First Future raise the $50,000 we need to keep reaching out to undecided voters and secure an overwhelming win on Election Day?

Thank you for stepping up today. Together, we’ll take back our democracy,

Julián Castro
