Dear supporters,

September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Mental health support is critical to ensuring we all stay safe during this difficult period. Many are having a tough time, but help is available.

Visit our Resources page to learn how you can make a difference with the easy-to-use Columbia Protocol to help prevent suicide and remember that the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline can always be reached at 1-800-273-8255.

We have always believed that firearm safety and mental health go hand in hand. Be a COVID-19 hero in your home and make certain your firearms are safely stored where your children cannot access them and are not likely to be stolen. Responsible firearms ownership is essential in preventing tragedies.

In the years since the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, the families of the Parkland shooting deceased victims have come together to tell our story and the story of what happened on February 14, 2018.

Stand With Parkland – The National Association of Families for Safe Schools is focused on the pragmatic, consensus-driven solutions that we know will keep students and staff safe at school. We're working together as one, across the political spectrum, and with people of every background.

We are growing a movement that represents the interests of American families, first and foremost. We focus on the triad of school safety: Securing the campus, better mental health screening and support programs, and responsible firearms ownership. And we do it by advocating for pragmatic, bipartisan solutions to keep students and staff safe at school.

We are able to continue these efforts because of your ongoing support. Please consider a donation to support our work – every dollar has a real impact on school safety in this country.
