Recent polling and expert analysis show that Ohio is a toss up in 2020.

And this is important to remember, it's not just the presidential: We have a chance to flip Republican seats up and down the ballot in our state, with Desiree Tims running in Ohio's 10th District and Kate Schroder running in Ohio's 1st District.

Both Kate and Desiree are on the DCCC's Red to Blue list, which highlights the top congressional races in the entire country.

Kate and Desiree are facing their last FEC quarterly deadline of the campaign and are counting on strong grassroots support to flip these seats from red to blue. If you can, will you split a contribution between their campaigns?

These are winnable races because of the strong leaders Kate and Desiree are:

Kate is a fifth generation Cincinnatian, a cancer survivor, and a mom. She is a strong health care advocate, and she's managed global programs in children's health and held leadership positions in the industry.

Desiree was born and raised in Dayton and is a Team Sherrod alum! She is the first in her family to go to college, and she would be the first African American and the first woman to ever represent Ohio's 10th. She understands her community, and the kind of leader Daytonians need in Congress.

Winning these races is critical to fighting for our progressive values and for the Dignity of Work. With the FEC deadline quickly approaching, this is one of the best times to get involved and help Kate and Desiree. If you can, please consider splitting a contribution between their campaigns before this critical deadline.

Thanks,

Team Sherrod
