Friend -- Election Day is just over a month away, and voting is already underway in some states. We are running out of time to stop Republicans from using voter suppression, gerrymandering, and political gamesmanship to cling to power.

I want to be clear about what they are doing -- too many Republicans know they do not have the people on their side, and so they are afraid of fair elections. They are comfortable being a party with minority views that manipulates the system so they can exert majority power.

At the NDRC, we've set out to end map manipulation and defend voting rights for every single American. But frankly, there's not a lot of time left. We have to break their stranglehold on power now.

Right now, we're dealing with a president and a Republican Party hell-bent on making it harder to vote while planning to spend $125 million to win down-ballot races -- and a postmaster general who's intent on sabotaging the Postal Service while more Americans than ever plan to vote by mail.

I want to say thank you -- again -- for everything you've helped us accomplish so far. From winning 10 governor's races and flipping eight state legislative chambers to investing more than $2.5 million so far in 2020, we couldn't have done any of it without your support.

But we're coming up on our biggest test yet. Election Day is in just 34 days, and it's our final chance to defeat GOP map manipulators before redistricting in 2021. If we don't stand up to defend voting rights and get Democrats to the redistricting table all over the country, we could live with another decade of gerrymandered maps.
