Our 48 hour vigil and action for Rose's Law has just come to an end. So much happened during the 48 hours of the vigil. Nearly 200 activists gathers outside of Smithfield's Farmer John slaughterhouse and we took nonviolent direct action to stop pigs from being killed. Join us this Saturday at 11AM at the Meetup: Behind the Scenes of the 48-Hour Vigil to hear more about what happened at the vigil and a peak behind the scenes of how we did this together! Sunday, October 4th, 10:30 AM: October Chapter Meeting: DxE SF Bay - Help us shape the direction of the local DxE community. This is the most important meeting we hold each month and it is a place for discussion, strategic planning, and decision making. All current and prospective chapter members in the DxE SF Bay Area chapter are encouraged to attend. We will be hearing legal updates, debriefing the Rose's Law action, and discussing other topics. The Zoom link will be posted in the event page details. NOTE: This month's Chapter Meeting will start an hour earlier than usual.
