Watching last night’s presidential debate was painful, John.
It was a chilling reminder why we’re fighting so hard this election to end this nightmare and defeat Donald Trump.
The stakes can’t get any higher. We need to fight with every ounce of courage and determination we have to take this white nationalist out of the White House.
We will not give into Trump’s fear tactics. We are building a multiracial coalition of women to fight the challenges we’re about to face these next 34 days leading up to the election and afterwards. And we will win.
It’s clear that Trump knows he’s losing this election.
Since he can’t logically convince a majority of people to vote for him — he’s doubling down on his efforts to delegitimize the election, encourage chaos, and intimidate voters.
So we’re tripling down on our fight to make sure women are the ones who kick Trump out of the White House. If we channel all of our strength and lessons from the last four years into action — we can stop Trump from lying, cheating, and stealing his way to another election win.
Together we will make sure that everyone counts, ensure everyone’s vote is counted, and swear in a government of, by, and for the people.
There’s more work ahead of us than we could’ve predicted. From organizing a march on Oct. 17 to show our resistance ahead of the election, to growing our organizing programs as we get closer to Nov. 3rd — there’s a lot on our plate right now. And to be honest with you, John, it’s very expensive making sure every program, volunteer, and staff member has the resources they need to be successful in their work.
Together,
Women’s March
