In a

afford towards my reelection campaign. My team let me know that we’re
running slightly behind on an important goal, and I hope you can help. But
first, let’s talk about the movement we’ve built:

We’re living in times that demand courage and resolve. As we speak,
millions of our neighbors are out of work. Too many families have lost
people they love due to COVID-19. Whether you live in a city, a suburb, or
a small town, you’ve felt the sting of this pandemic in some form.

Meanwhile, too many of our leaders in Washington refuse to rise to the
scale of this crisis. For months, our legislation to provide real relief
to working families has been blocked in the Senate. That’s the reality of
our politics – even in times of crisis, there are too many people in power
who are unaccountable to the people.

In these moments, grassroots power is more important than ever. The
ability to mobilize folks to fight for real economic justice, elect
champions who refuse to bow to corporate interests, and introduce powerful
legislation that speaks to the needs of those who are suffering is the key
to ending these concurrent crises – and it’s exactly what we’re working to
build here.

I won’t mislead you, doing things this way isn’t easy. Unlike the vast
majority of Congress, we refuse all PAC money – corporate, special
interest, everything. That’s because there’s enough members of Congress
who have to have other considerations besides their constituents. Not us.

folks chipping in $3, $10, or $27 at a time. Right now, we’re running
behind on an important goal. These goals are how we plan our organizing

Medicare for All, action on climate change, expanding access to rural
broadband, monthly COVID-19 relief checks for every family, term limits
