Monthly Updates
As we get closer to November, team New Politics is working overtime to support our servant leaders — and we endorsed eight more in September! This month, we share with you our open letter “For Ourselves and Our Posterity”, new episodes of the podcast we just launched, and a recap of the Second Service Coalition’s virtual fundraiser. Thanks for reading!

An Open Letter: “For Ourselves and Our Posterity”
Earlier this month, we brought together more than 200 federal officeholders, state and local officials, current and former candidates, military veterans and Gold Star Family members to sign an open letter as a way of confronting ourselves and holding up a mirror to what is going on in our country. Read our reflections on what our country stands for and the legacy we want to leave for our children.

Hear the stories of amazing servant leaders on the New Politics Podcast

Listen as our Senior Director of Leadership Development Max Klau sits down with School Board member Paula Phillips, candidate for Congress Matt Tito, and Virginia House of Delegates member Dan Helmer and talks about servant leadership. Hear each leader talk about the challenges they face in their quest to lead with courage and integrity in American politics today.

We hosted a virtual fundraiser for the Second Service Coalition

Our country’s best hope is in the leaders who have served before and committed themselves to causes greater than themselves. That’s why we hosted a virtual fundraiser to support their campaigns. These are the men and women who will revitalize our democracy in the years to come, and we’re proud to support them.

Candidate Spotlight
Sri Kulkarni is a lifelong public servant who has advocated for America’s principles in some of the world’s most dangerous places as a Foreign Service Officer. He’s running for office to put politics aside and put Texans first. Sri’s Congressional race is going to be an incredibly close one — help get him to the finish line this November.
