Operation Divina Guadalupe 2020 Sea Shepherd’s Operation Divina Guadalupe has the largest number of worldwide sightings of Cuvier’s beaked whales ever recorded and is one of the only long-term studies of beaked whales in existence. Beaked whales are vulnerable to mass standings due to human-made acoustic disturbances. The more we learn about these animals, the better we can enhance protections in oceans around the world.
