Senator Lindsey Graham, who is making a blatantly partisan attempt today to discredit the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign, has promised Americans they’re in for a real show.
Graham’s exact (and cryptic) words were that “the day of reckoning is upon us.”
From Graham’s statement, it’s easy to imagine the Senator views himself as a sheriff of sorts -- someone bringing justice to a town besmirched by corruption and wrongdoing.
We see Graham for what he really is: Donald Trump’s top enabler, a man with no moral compass of any kind, a man who despicably referred to the president’s impeachment trial as a “lynching,” and a man who is responsible for the corruption and wrongdoing perpetrated by the Republicans in our nation’s capital. Graham’s own day of reckoning comes on November 3 -- with a recent Morning Consult poll showing Graham and his Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison in a statistical tie.
