We released a digital clothing collection in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a video game that supports mental health by driving positive social connections across the world. The bright and colorful clothes signal that wearers support LGBTQ youth and want to raise awareness of suicide prevention best practices.

Trevor released new research that examines factors associated with attempting suicide among Latinx LGBTQ young people, who were 30% more likely to report a suicide attempt in the past year compared to their LGBTQ peers. The research specifically underscores the impact of immigration-related fears on Latinx LGBTQ youth mental health.

This month we teamed up with Kiehl’s Since 1851 to support LGBTQ youth mental health during National Suicide Prevention Month and Self Care Month. Celebrity LGBTQ allies like Billy Porter, Mj Rodriguez, Hayley Kiyoko, Ashlyn Harris, and Ali Krieger all shared inspiring, personal video messages raising awareness for Trevor + our resources and asking viewers to “Take Care to Take Care” – sharing how when you take care of yourself, you are better positioned to take care of others.
