The home of Nevada’s state animal, the Desert Bighorn, needs your help!
The Desert National Wildlife Refuge (DWNR) is the largest refuge of its
kind in the lower 48 states and it is currently NOT permanently
protected. 

[ [link removed] ]Click here to tell Nevada’s representatives in Congress that DNWR
deserves permanent protection!

The DNWR is sacred land, habitat for the iconic bighorn sheep, and home to
some of Nevada’s most spectacular and intact desert landscapes.. In order
to continue to thrive without the threat of military expansion, we need
permanent protection for the Refuge, and we need it now.

So much is at stake and it is time to put a stop to the continued threat
of military expansion into the Desert Refuge. DNWR deserves permanent
wilderness protection now!

We need to safeguard critical wildlife habitat and important cultural
sites while expanding access to the refuge and preserving opportunities
for hiking and hunting. Protecting this critical landscape should no
longer be up for discussion in Congress.
