No confirmation before Inauguration Day
Dear Friends,
After watching last night’s debate I’m writing with good news: we have the power to decide this election.
The future is in our hands. Across the country, people are already voting in record numbers. Nothing can stop our focus or determination between now and November 3 and beyond.
We know Trump’s playbook. And we know when we come together like we did in 2018, the tides turn. It’s time to stay clear and bring it.
With the election already underway, the Trump Administration is trying to ram their Supreme Court nominee through the confirmation process.
Rise up with us at a rally this Sunday, October 4th from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. at the State Capitol and online to say #WeDissent: No Confirmation Before Inauguration. RSVP now.
A vote on any nominee right now is a vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act and strip health care from millions of people. It’s a vote to roll back hard-won gains for gender equality, reproductive freedom, voting rights, racial justice, immigrant rights, and more.
We decide the future. We will not sit back.
Join TakeAction, Gender Justice, and people across the state on Sunday, October 4. If you can’t be there in person join the livestream.
There’s no question that debate was brutal. Let me know how you’re doing and what’s keeping you motivated right now.
In solidarity,
Kenza Hadj-Moussa
Director of Public Affairs
