He was right -- but I also believe that all politics is personal. And if this current moment has taught us anything, it's just how much the decisions made by our leaders -- from DC to statehouses and municipal buildings all across the country -- really make a difference in our lives.

Here’s the good news: our moment of maximum power as citizens, when we cast our vote, is here.
