John –

Today marks 44 years of politicians using the Hyde Amendment – a policy where economic, racial, and gender injustice converge – to deny people abortion coverage.

This year once again reminded us that police violence, wage gaps, and inequities in health care exposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and abortion coverage bans aren’t separate issues. They are all rooted in systemic racism that denies the humanity of Black, Indigenous, and people of color and their ability to thrive in their own communities.

We reimagine a better future than this – where each of us can live, work, and make decisions about our health and our future with dignity and economic security.

Add your name and call on the next administration to commit to reimagining a post-pandemic world where everyone has access to a better future, by committing to the following: <[link removed]>

- Lift abortion coverage bans by writing a presidential budget in the first 100 days without abortion coverage bans and pledging to veto any bills that contain the Hyde Amendment.

- Ensure equal representation of workers, both union and non-union, on any economic recovery council.

- Raise the federal minimum wage to $15/hour within the first 100 days.

- Nominate a Supreme Court justice with a demonstrable commitment to economic and reproductive justice.

Our nation’s strength comes from our ability not just to work, but to work together – for a better tomorrow for all of us. Add your name and join us to reimagine a better future>> <[link removed]>

There is no going back. We only go forward together.

Thanks for all your work,

Destiny Lopez, Co-Director
