John,
In a truly frightening moment for American democracy, the President of the United States refused to denounce white supremacist groups like the Proud Boys, instead calling on the groups to "stand back and stand by."
Unfortunately, the Proud Boys are not new to us. A member of the Proud Boys, Nick Ochs, is running against our endorsed candidate Adrian Tam, for the Hawaii state legislature. Here is what Ochs said after Trump mentioned Proud Boys last night:

As Colorado state Representative Leslie Herod said last night on Fox News 12, "We're not surprised, but terrified." There's no way around this type of rhetoric, John. No way to ignore the President and Ochs' words. This election is our last chance to stand up to these disgusting bigots and send a clear message that hate groups have no place in our politics. Help Adrian - and all of our candidates - defeat these villains once and for all.
Thank you for standing with us -
