I want to tell you a little bit about how my husband Matt acts immediately before elections…

Actually, nothing changes. He doesn’t pivot or soften his views. He doesn’t let up on his passionate fights for the American people. He doesn’t panic. He stays focused on the big picture — the people of Northeastern Pennsylvania and what they need.

Their focuses are Matt’s focuses: Fighting for hazard pay for essential workers. Defending protections for those with pre-existing conditions. Bringing jobs and drug manufacturing back to the United States.

That’s what I love about Matt as both my husband (and my Congressman!) — he doesn’t obsess over elections, or fundraising, or the polls. And I get to see him up close, working hard for our neighbors and communities.

But, Matt is facing one of his toughest electoral challenges yet, and right now he’s still a little behind where he needs to be on fundraising. That’s why I volunteered to send this email.
