Friend --

The current debate on when to fill the seat vacated by Justice Ginsburg highlights
two things we need to do in the next 34 days: Elect Joe Biden president, and elect a
Democratic majority in the Senate. We cannot begin to undo the deep damage done by Donald Trump -- to
the judiciary and beyond -- until we win these elections.

In order to flip the Senate this fall and give Democrats the Senate majority, I
am going to ask you to donate today to four of the races that the Cook Political
Report has rated as "toss-ups":

- Cal Cunningham (NC)
- Sara Gideon (ME)
- Steve Bullock (MT)
- Theresa Greenfield (IA)

Before tonight's end-of-quarter deadline -- the last before the election -- please
donate today to four Senate challengers who could single-handedly flip the Senate.

Let me tell you more about these four extraordinary candidates:

- Cal Cunningham (NC): Cal is exactly the type of leader North Carolina needs. A lawyer
and Army veteran who enlisted after 9/11, he has committed his life to serving his country
and his community. Cal is running to replace Sen. Thom Tillis, a member of the Senate
Judiciary Committee who, though he opposed doing so in 2016, supports filling the current
Supreme Court vacancy within the 34 days until Election Day.

- Sara Gideon (ME): Sara is the current speaker of the Maine House of Representatives,
who has committed her service to helping Maine families, expanding health care access,
and protecting reproductive choice. She is running against Sen. Susan Collins, who cast
the deciding vote for Justice Kavanaugh in 2018.

- Steve Bullock (MT): Steve is Montana's popular governor and former attorney general,
not to mention a labor lawyer who represented unions. He knows how to lead Montana, and
Montana is clearly ready for change. While Steve's opponent Sen. Steve Daines didn't support
even giving Merrick Garland a hearing in 2016, he now supports a rushed process to replace
Justice Ginsburg just 34 days before Election Day.

- Theresa Greenfield (IA): Theresa grew up on a farm and has spent her career as an urban
planner and in leadership positions in real estate development. Now, she is challenging Sen.
Joni Ernst, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee who also did not support giving Merrick
Garland a fair hearing in 2016 but supports Trump pushing through a nomination while
Americans have already begun casting their votes.

We need to flip only four seats to flip the Senate. If we send enough support to
these four toss-up races, that just may be enough to do it.

Donate today to split a contribution, before the final end-of-quarter deadline before the election,
between Cal Cunningham, Sara Gideon, Steve Bullock, and Theresa Greenfield, four Democratic
Senate challengers who could single-handedly take back the Senate.
