Friend,

Six weeks ago, law enforcement discovered crates of guns while investigating a shooting in Montgomery County. Soon after the Attorney General and the Montgomery County District Attorney announced the end of a major gun trafficking ring. The connection was made through the one-year old Track & Trace Initiative.

The effort, led by Attorney General Josh Shapiro, helps law enforcement share electronic records on gun purchases and uses with the hope of stopping straw purchases and helping solve violent shootings. This 21st-Century Policing program is already tracking a record number of crime guns and is making our communities safer.

Join CFPA and Attorney General Shapiro next week on Wednesday, October 7th at 1:30pm for a #WebinarWednesday to learn more about Track & Trace.

Attorney General Shapiro will be joining CeaseFirePA’s Executive Director to discuss how this program is helping fight gun crime, and why it could be a national model. We'll also teach attendees how to use the system to better understand how illegal guns drive violence in communities.

Join us and find out more.

Looking forward to seeing you there,

Adam Garber
