Asking for money always feels a little… awkward.
After all, I know that times are tough for so many of us, here in Georgia and across the country, and I know you may have different priorities competing for your attention.
But our 21 OAD-endorsed candidates need your support right now, because the end of the financial quarter has them all looking at the books to see what resources they'll have available for the last weeks of this election. So I'm asking personally: Can you contribute any amount to support their campaigns right now?

Here's the other reason I'm asking for your support: The stakes in November’s election just couldn't be higher, friends. This is truly the moment when our country has to decide who we will be.
And make no mistake: With the possibility that Georgia could swing the electoral college for Joe Biden, with two Senate seats up for election, and with the Georgia House of Representatives in play,
momentum here matters more than almost anywhere else.
Will we be a nation that is inclusive, just, welcoming, and fair? Or will we let far-right politicians take us backward -- rolling back the rights of women, of people of color, of the LGBTQ community, of immigrants, and of workers?
It's up to us.
We must elect leaders who will stand up for what is right, no matter who they have to stand up to.
We must elect leaders who are in politics to serve the people's interests, not special interests.
We must elect leaders who are ready to get to work and fight for us.
And we need to make sure that we're electing leaders down-ballot too, like our 21 local candidates I'm so proud to support.
These amazing women are ready to build a Georgia that finally works for all of us, but right now they need your support. Can you contribute any amount to OAD right now so we can get our candidates the resources they need to compete?
