PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE:
Last night, President Trump faced off in the first presidential debate against Democratic candidate former Vice President Joe Biden. We knew from the start that Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media were ready to crown Joe Biden the winner, but the results tell a different story. On the topic of the Supreme Court, Joe Biden still refused to say whether he would pack the court with far-left activist judges. Biden continued to push the left's anti-vaxxer message -- stating that he didn't trust a COVID-19 vaccine coming from the Trump administration. Biden also said that he would eliminate President Trump's tax cuts and raise the corporate tax rate from 21 percent to 28 percent, in a move that would kill countless jobs that President Trump's pro-growth policies have created. Meanwhile, President Trump contrasted Joe Biden's message of doom and gloom with that of American empowerment. The president made excellent points in stating that before COVID-19 hit our shores, the economy was booming, and it is already rebounding quickly. Over the last four months alone, more than 10 million jobs have been added back to the American economy.. |
BOTTOM LINE: |
President Trump once again proved at the debate that he is the best man for the job of leading our country. Joe Biden did absolutely nothing but deflect from his own record and appear to be lost. Everything Biden said he would do if the American people elect him are goals he could have already accomplished in his 47 years as a career politician in Washington, if he actually wanted to. Joe Biden didn't achieve any of his campaign promises throughout his nearly five decades in politics, so why would now be any different? The only reason he is running to be president of the United States is simply because Biden feels like the American people owe it to him. It's the same problem Hillary Clinton had four years ago, and Americans see right through that now just like they did in the last election. As President Trump rightfully said on the debate stage, he has accomplished more in 47 months than Joe Biden has accomplished in 47 years, and there is nothing the former vice president can do to erase his record of failures.

President Trump's SCOTUS Nomination: On Saturday, President Trump nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the vacant seat on the United States Supreme Court. Judge Barrett is yet another great pick by the president and would give conservatives a 6-3 majority on the Supreme Court -- something that was unimaginable just a few years ago. Judge Barrett was confirmed to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in 2017, even though Democrats viciously went after her for her religious beliefs. In a 2017 confirmation hearing, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California) disgustingly attacked Judge Barrett's Catholic faith, stating, "The dogma lives loudly within you." Many Americans viewed the horrific comment as Senate Democrats creating a religious litmus test for anyone looking to serve on the federal bench, in an egregious offense against religious liberty in our nation. The Democrats have picked up the same wrongful attack against Judge Barrett this time around. |
BOTTOM LINE: |
Judge Barrett is a fantastic pick for the Supreme Court, and it is a shame that Democrats are mistreating her again, including regarding her religion. That is simply un-American and should be devastating for Democrats in November. Judge Barrett clerked for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia after graduating first in her class at Notre Dame Law School. As we saw with the confirmations of Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, Democrats will pull out any dirty trick that they think will stop one of President Trump's Supreme Court nominations. Nevertheless, Republicans have a responsibility to confirm Judge Barrett to the Supreme Court. The American people elected President Trump, in part, on his promise to appoint constitutionalists to the Supreme Court, and then they voted to give Senate Republicans an even larger majority in 2018 after the nasty showing from Democrats in Justice Kavanaugh's hearings. Republicans have a mandate from the American people to confirm Judge Barrett as soon as possible. |

President Trump's Platinum Plan: Last week, President Trump announced his Platinum Plan to help uplift African American communities throughout the country. Over the next four years, President Trump is promising to increase capital flow to African American communities by nearly $500 billion. The four pillars of the project include opportunity, security, prosperity, and fairness. The goal is to create 3 million new jobs for African Americans, create 500,000 new black owned businesses, commit to working on a Second Step Act, and address disparities in healthcare. |
BOTTOM LINE: |
President Trump is once again fulfilling his promise to be a great leader for all Americans. Throughout his first term, the president has worked to improve the lives of all Americans and led the economy to historic heights before China unleashed COVID-19 on the world. However, the president is now working hard to raise the economy to even greater levels and is ensuring that no American is ever left behind again. Through the Platinum Plan, President Trump is making sure that the African American community is reaping the vast rewards of the Great American Comeback. |

America First Healthcare Agenda: On Monday, President Trump announced that his administration is planning to distribute 150 million Abbott rapid point-of-care COVID-19 tests in the coming weeks. Fifty million tests will be going to vulnerable communities like nursing homes and assisted living, with the additional hundred million going to states and territories to help in reopening their economies and schools as quickly as possible. This new coronavirus test is easy to perform, takes away the pain of a normal test, and gives results within minutes. This great news on testing is on top of President Trump announcing his America First Healthcare Agenda last week to improve the care that Americans receive -- especially the vulnerable. To initiate his healthcare agenda, President Trump recently signed the Executive Order on an America-First Healthcare Plan. The EO declares it the policy of the federal government to protect those with pre-existing conditions and works to end surprise billing. The president also announced that he will send prescription drug discount cards to over 33 million seniors.

President Trump is using every tool at the federal government's disposal to protect America's vulnerable population during these trying times. His administration has worked with the private sector to assist those who may be battling the coronavirus, and he is pursuing a healthcare agenda that puts Americans first. As President Trump has consistently stated for several years now, he will never abandon those with pre-existing conditions, and he will never abandon vulnerable Americans who may otherwise struggle to provide for themselves. Regardless of what Democrats may say, President Trump has the interests of the American people at heart, and he will do what it takes to protect them. |

President Trump on the Campaign Trail: President Trump continues to hit the campaign trail hard leading up to the election on November 3. Today, President Trump will be delivering remarks at a campaign event in Duluth, Minnesota. Tomorrow, President Trump will hold a roundtable with supporters in Bedminster, New Jersey, and will also be making remarks at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation annual dinner -- a tradition for presidential candidates. On Friday, President Trump will be making a campaign stop in Sanford, Florida. On Saturday, the president will campaign in La Crosse and Green Bay, Wisconsin. |
BOTTOM LINE: |
President Trump is continuing his grueling campaign schedule over the next week as he brings his "Make America Great Again" message straight to the American people. For the majority of recent weeks, former Vice President Joe Biden has called a lid for his campaign early in the morning, barely doing any work at all. While President Trump is working hard to earn the votes of Americans, Joe Biden is mostly stuck in his basement safe space -- nowhere to be seen. It's more obvious than ever that President Trump is the only real candidate in this presidential race. The president is the only one taking Americans' votes seriously.
