That debate.

Perhaps no clearer case has ever been made for the urgency of defeating
this president and defeating him in a landslide … and the case was made by
Trump himself.

Based on how Trump continues to attack reliable and legitimate ways of
voting as a “fraud” and a “scam,” it seems that he sees his defeat coming.
But his suggestions that he won’t accept the results if he loses mean that
we need to defeat him so thoroughly that the will of the American people
will be UNDENIABLE. So we need to kick all of our voter mobilization
programs into overdrive TODAY.

This is the biggest fundraising deadline of the year so far, and we keep
expanding our campaign budgets to meet the urgency of saving our country
from collapsing into autocracy.  We need to raise another $25,565.44 TODAY
to make our goal, and for the sake of our democracy and everything that
you and I care about, I hope that we don’t just hit that goal, but beat it
soundly (just like we need to beat Donald Trump soundly, in less than 5
weeks).

One of the most chilling moments was when Trump was challenged to condemn
white supremacists, who the FBI says are the country’s biggest domestic
threat, and tell them to “stand down.” He refused, and instead told the
violent white supremacist group the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand
by” because “somebody's got to do something” about “the left,” who Trump
said were the real problem.

The Proud Boys immediately celebrated online and made it clear they saw
the president’s words as his giving them his approval, if not direct
marching orders, with comments such as, "Trump basically said to go fuck
them up! this makes me so happy," and, "Standing by sir."  They released a
new logo for their organization featuring the president’s exact words:
“Stand Back. Stand By.”

This is the president of the United States appealing to violent racists to
be his muscle and back up his efforts to ignore the election results and
destroy our democracy by essentially mounting a coup.

And here’s the simple truth: The way we fight back is by organizing,
mobilizing, voting, and winning. The way YOU fight back RIGHT NOW is to
