Jack,

It’s no secret that Kirsten and I share a very special friendship. I mean it when I say that she’s like a sister to me.

When we both announced our campaigns for president last year, I said at the time, “there may be some sibling rivalry but we will always be family.” In fact, our friendship is so deep that she even learned to cook vegan for me! Now, that’s the definition of a true friend.

I wouldn’t be reaching out today if it wasn’t so important, but both my re-election campaign and Off the Sidelines are coming up on our most critical fundraising deadline of the entire year at midnight.

I know these are extraordinary times we’re living in, but if you’re able, please consider sending in a donation right now to help my re-election effort and support Kirsten’s vital work to elect more women to public office.

This is truly a moral moment in our country. The stakes of this election simply could not be higher. The Supreme Court and the future of our democracy as we know it are all on the line.

Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell have made it clear they will try as hard as they can to ram through a Supreme Court nominee who will overturn Roe v. Wade, eviscerate the Affordable Care Act, and turn back the clock on our nation’s progress.

You better believe that Kirsten and I are going to do everything we can to fight back against Mitch McConnell’s hypocrisy. But we can’t do it without your help, Jack. We absolutely must take back the Senate next year.

I know we can flip the Senate with some of the incredible candidates that Off the Sidelines is supporting leading the way, strong leaders like Sara Gideon in Maine and MJ Hegar in Texas. But we’ll also need to hold onto the seats we already have, including my own right here in New Jersey.

I so want to be able to serve with my sister Kirsten in the Senate for years to come. I also desperately want our party to be firmly in the majority after the November election. I’d be so grateful for any donation you can give today to help make that happen.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with us.

— Cory
