The U.S. House of Representatives recently voted, in a bipartisan vote of 359-57, to keep our government funded and avoid an unnecessary and destructive shutdown. You likely guessed it: Kathy’s opponent and do-nothing Rep. Jason Smith said “nah, shut it down” in the middle of an economy-crushing pandemic. 

This is why Kathy’s run is so important. In place of a slimy politician who siphons off taxpayer dollars for himself and his wealthy corporate donors, we can elect Missouri’s first LGBTQ+ Congresswoman, someone who has worked for over 40 years helping others as a clinical social worker. 

Our campaign has raised over $70,000 just this quarter, and we’re seeing the results: we’ve reached thousands of voters and are organizing new and infrequent voters who are usually disenfranchised or discouraged and don’t vote.
