Plain and simple — Donald Trump was a failure and embarrassment tonight. Tonight was a contrast between two distinctly different visions of America. Joe Biden is a leader fighting for all Americans. Meanwhile, while the other is a cheat who doesn’t pay his fair share of taxes.

Tonight we heard Trump:

  • Refuse to categorically denounce white supremacists, and falsely said extremist violence is "not a right-wing problem."
  • Make false clamis about Biden's health care plan.
  • Claimed to have helped minorities because he ended racial sensitivity training in federal agencies — "because it’s racist"
  • Made a number of false statements about our environment claiming people are actually "very happy about what’s going on”

The truth — a large majority of Americans oppose Mr. Trump’s climate policies, and that California would not be burning if they "had forest management".

These are just one part of a litany of things that Donald Trump has claimed in his 3.5 tenure in office. Donald Trump has failed at everything he has done. His failures have led to 200,000 Americans dead due to the coronavirus. Our economy is in shambles, with tens of millions Americans out of work — and our health care system faces the biggest threat in decades because of Trump’s war on the Affordable Care Act and protections for pre-existing conditions.
 
We can't let this happen, we must fight back. This debate proved that this November, everyone must vote — it is time to make all of our voices heard — the soul of our nation and the future for our children depend on it.
