I've had a front-row seat to President Trump's corrupt agenda and dangerous rhetoric, friends. But even so, I am unnerved about what I saw during tonight's first presidential debate. 

The president's performance and inability to speak about the virus he's allowed to ravage our country or the economic relief Americans are desperately asking for is just another example of his weak, erratic leadership. President Trump made it clearer than ever that if reelected, he has no intention to change: He will continue to fail Americans on tackling the coronavirus pandemic. He will continue his attempts to destroy affordable health care. And he will continue to stoke racial inequality.

But the election is in just 35 days – and with the first Floridians voting in just 20, Joe Biden and President Trump are tied in Florida. The future of our Democratic House majority – and the healing and progress our nation urgently needs – comes down to people like you using your voice. That’s why I’m reaching out to you personally, friends. With the polls in Florida up in the air, I need to know you're with me in defeating President Trump before 11:59 p.m. tonight:
