Step In was created by ICESAHT in 2017 to increase awareness and to inspire action to eradicate sexual assault on college campuses and the surrounding communities. With the intention to extend our reach and imact further into the college communities we serve, ICESAHT is proud to announce that we will be partnering with the SAFE Bar Network to facilitate bystander intervention trainings to local Indiana bars in order to prevent sexual harassment and sexual assault, while providing a safe environment for the community.

SAFE Bar Network engages bar owners, managers, and staff in continued conversations about sexual violence, active bystander skills, and their responsibility to take action when someone is uncomfortable or unsafe.

Join us as we discuss the creation of dialogue amongst bar staff around alcohol impairment and sexual assault, creating safe plans in the event someone is overly intoxicated and therefore more susceptible to sexual assault and promoting bystander intervention from bar staff. Learn ways that you can become involved in changing a culture!
