Just hours from now, Joe Biden will take the stage against Donald Trump in Ohio for the first presidential debate of this election.

We are officially in the final stage of this race, and at this moment, we can't afford to take anything for granted or risk coming up short. I'm cautiously optimistic about how well-prepared our party is for this fight -- but that could all change depending on how much support the Democratic Unity Fund receives. Our ability to mobilize voters, increase ad spending, and cover more ground in key battleground states in these final crucial weeks depends on the funds you and members of this grassroots team can come together and raise ahead of big deadlines like this one.

Tomorrow’s deadline is the most important quarterly FEC deadline of this race -- because it is the last one before November 3. Will you be one of 26 more people from Washington to donate $7 to the Democratic Unity Fund before tonight's debate to help Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats up and down the ballot win?

Our fight to take back the White House, flip the Senate, and elect Democrats up and down the ballot will require a strong, unified Democratic Party. And so many folks from the District of Columbia have already stepped up to join that fight.

In the time remaining before Election Day, we’ll need to unify and mobilize like never before if we're going to win. Joe, Kamala, and Democratic candidates nationwide are counting on you to step up before tonight's debate. I hope you won't let them down.
