John,
I'm a big fan of Justice Democrats.
They are working every single day to transform the Democratic Party into the engine for progressive change we need—by electing diverse, working-class leaders who will join me in the people’s House in fighting for policies like Medicare for All and ensuring clean water and air for all of our communities.
Corporate special interests have had a stranglehold on the Democratic Party and the Overton Window (our shared political imagination about what's considered possible) for far too long. But Justice Democrats has changed the conversation on what’s politically possible in Washington and across the country.
I’m proud to be a Justice Democrat and support the work that they do. So today, I’m asking: Will you contribute $3 to JD right now to help them reach their $200,000 end of quarter goal before midnight tomorrow?
My work is guided by the belief that everyone in our country deserves to thrive, and that power belongs in the hands of the people, not the wealthy few. I know that Justice Democrats’ work is also grounded in that same principle.
In 2018, Justice Democrats helped our movement win in Michigan’s 13th District. And they helped Jamaal Bowman, Marie Newman, and Cori Bush all win their primary elections this summer against incumbent opponents.
We need more bold leaders, fighters, and advocates for democracy who will fight alongside me for the kinds of policies we know our communities deserve. We need more people in our Squad for justice.
Your contributions to Justice Democrats will help them elect more progressive fighters and begin to plan for the 2022 cycle.
We have less than 36 hours until tomorrow night’s midnight deadline. John, if you can afford it, please contribute $3 to help JD reach their critical $200,000 end of quarter fundraising goal.
Thank you so much for supporting Justice Democrats today. Together we will continue to push for real change.
In solidarity,
Rashida Tlaib
