After everything that disgraced Sheriff Joe Arpaio has done, from perpetuating
the racist “birther” conspiracy against President Obama to violating the law
and making immigration arrests after a court-ordered him to stop, he should be
disqualified from ever holding public office again. But he’s back to run for
his old job, and he’s likely to have right-wing support.

It’s the same right-wing support that will be given to our opponents, who want
to flip Tom’s seat red at all costs and take back the House for the GOP. We
have to fight back together.
