Dear John,

We are 9 days away from the most important Boundary Waters event of the year, the Boundary Waters 2020 Virtual Fundraiser!
Be sure to get your tickets today for a night you won’t want to miss hosted by Boundary Waters champions Julia Louis-Dreyfus and me, former U.S. Senator Al Franken, on October 8 at 5 pm CT. This will be an evening to celebrate the Boundary Waters as well as an opportunity to support the permanent protection of this one-of-a-kind place by Voting Boundary Waters this election.

What you can expect from this virtual evening? You’ll hear from federal and state-level candidates about why they have pledged to protect the Boundary Waters and what it means to have the Boundary Waters on the ballot this election, and how you can make an impact. Read the full line up of speakers here: [link removed]

You’ll also hear from Wilderness-edge business owners, youth, and Boundary Waters advocates about what makes the Boundary Waters so special, and how the impact of toxic sulfide-ore copper mining near this special place will impact wildlife, biodiversity, clean water, and humans.
We need you to speak up for the Boundary Waters this election. Join me on October 8 - [link removed]] and take the next step in defending the Boundary Waters.

For the Wilderness,
Al Franken
Former U.S. Senator
P.S. Don’t live anywhere near the Boundary Waters, but want to protect them from the threat of sulfide-ore copper mining? Attending this important virtual event is your chance to defend the Boundary Waters from ANYWHERE! Get your tickets today and invite your friends! [[link removed]]
