Join us and hear from the Attorney General of Minnesota, Keith Ellison, on the importance of our mission! MLFA works to advance equality and justice for American Muslim organizations and individuals by promoting legal compliance and protecting their rights in matters concerning national security law. 
Keith Ellison, was sworn in as Minnesota’s 30th attorney general on January 7, 2019. As the People’s Lawyer, Attorney General Ellison’s guiding values are generosity and inclusion. He is a champion for civil and human-rights protections and he spent 16 years as an attorney specializing in civil-rights and defense law, including five years as executive director of the Legal Rights Center. As the leader of this public-interest law firm, he oversaw a team of attorneys focused on delivering justice for people who had nowhere else to turn, as we do at MLFA. He was also a noted community activist and we are excited to welcome him for our first-ever Virtual Charity Gala on Thursday, October 15th, at 7:00 pm (CST).
