On Saturday President Trump officially nominated his pick for the Supreme Court and Mitch McConnell said the Senate will confirm a Justice before the election.
Everything is at stake with this seat vacancy -- affordable health care, workers' rights, LGBTQ rights, voting rights, and especially reproductive rights. Trump has made it explicitly clear he would like to see the court dismantle the Affordable Care Act and end Roe v. Wade.
We have to fight back.
The issues at stake are issues the American people deserve to have a voice in. Instead of the president and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell rushing through a nominee, the American people should have a say in who will sit on the Supreme Court.
We can't let this nomination go through before the inauguration. Add your name if you agree the American people should cast their votes on November 3rd before the Senate confirms a Supreme Court Justice to a lifetime appointment.
