Proposals Sought for Community Health Equity Program
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Community Solutions for Health Equity program aims to elevate the voices and priorities of communities of color. RWJF seeks letters of intent, ideas that identify a community problem, and suggest how to partner with health care systems on a solution. Deadline: October 7, 3:30 p.m. ET.
Culture of Health Prize Open for Community Applications
Communities are invited to apply for the 2021 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Prize. Applications need to demonstrate how nominated organizations are working to transform neighborhoods, schools, and businesses to create a Culture of Health. Informational webinar: August 6. The American Nurses Association seeks nominations for its Innovation Awards, which celebrate nurse-led innovations that improve patient safety and outcomes. Midcareer health professionals and behavioral and social scientists are encouraged to apply for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellows program, a yearlong learning experience in Washington, D.C., that seeks to build and maintain strong and diverse leadership and a workforce skilled in health policy. Participate in Testing the Board Engagement Survey
Calling all registered nurses (RNs) and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs): have you served for at least one year on a board of directors with fiduciary responsibilities? You may be eligible to participate in a study, approved by the University of Massachusetts Boston Institutional Review Board, to test an instrument aimed at measuring the engagement of nurses on boards.
