We launched Truth to Power just a few months ago, but we’ve already racked up some impressive wins.
Since launch, every single one of our endorsed candidates has won their primary. We’re already well on our way to sending powerful voices for truth to Congress.
But our work is far from over–we have 35 days left until Election Day and we have a major deadline coming up tomorrow.
Tomorrow at midnight is the end of the quarter. Each quarter, organizations like ours have to file public fundraising reports with the Federal Election Commission. That means every single wealthy special interest and corporate PAC working against our candidates are going to be digging through our report, trying to find weak spots in our movement.
If we fall short of our fundraising goals, those special interests could decide our candidates are vulnerable. They could devote even more of their considerable resources toward beating them, which could make our work over these next few final weeks even harder.
So we need to demonstrate our support for these truth-tellers by reporting a strong, people-powered movement.
