That’s my personal ghost gun.
It’s a handgun that basically doesn’t exist.
If you’re not familiar with ghost guns, you buy what is called an “80% kit” and you have to build the rest of the gun yourself.
And trust me, it’s really easy to do.
Nobody will ever accuse me of being the world’s greatest handyman, so if I can build it, you can too.
The gun has no serial number, no registration, it’s not linked to any gov’t database. And, it’s totally legal.
This is how it should be and what our Founding Fathers intended, before our big government got in the way.
Now, I have had people ask me if I mark my gun in anyway so that I can identify it.
And, the answer is yes.
For instance, let’s say I was teaching a pistol course and somehow got my gun mixed up with another person and they were identical.
Well… I have put a marking on my gun in a place only known to me, so that I can tell it’s mine. (Nobody knows where the marking is or what it looks like.)
Obviously, you don’t have to do this, but I did. And, I guess I’ll say the marking is very bland.
Clearly, I did not put my name or initials or anything like that. Anyways… If you’re looking for a fun project,
I’d encourage you to build your own ghost gun.
Obviously, our Socialist friends in the gov’t are trying to close this. Hopefully, it never happens.
But, I also thought I’d never see the day that politicians were proudly running as Socialists (instead of trying to hide that fact.)
