This is critical, friends: We just launched the first ad of our campaign to win in Florida and preserve our Democratic House majority. And the new, higher stakes of this election mean it's never been more important that we have it running.

The latest polls show Florida is in play – and the GOP is closing the voter registration gap, along with pushing every suppression tactic they can. What happens here will determine who's in the White House – and, if I'm being honest, the future of the Supreme Court and our shared values, from protecting health care for millions and voting rights to preventing gun violence. 

But we're falling short of where we need to be ahead of our final end-of-quarter goal before the election – and missing this now could mean difficult decisions like going dark, giving President Trump and his cronies the ability to overpower our message. 

I had my finance team pull our latest report before I got in touch with you, and we are on track to miss that goal by $6,311. I wouldn't come to you like this unless it was important, friends: A group of fired-up Democrats just offered to match every single contribution to keep our ad on the air.
