Want to vote by mail this year? NOW is the time to request your absentee ballot — or, if you already have it, fill it out and send it in! Voting by mail is a great way to stay safe during the pandemic and still have your voice heard. Due to postal service delays, this year it’s especially important to send in your ballot as early as possible.
Not sure how to request your ballot? Need help with the details, or want to learn more about voting by mail? Check out our new resource here! We explain the basics of mail-in voting in plain language. Plus, check out our 50 state guide to learn about your state’s requirements and deadlines for mail-in voting.
In some states, mail-in ballots must be received by election day, not just mailed by that date. Make sure you know your state’s deadline and send off that vote! Before voting, arm yourself with the facts and know your rights as a voter with a disability! If you need voting resources in ASL, check out SignVote.org!
You have the power to make your community a better place for all people with disabilities — we encourage you to use it.
Best wishes,
